After winning the Dada Saheb Palkhe award for his short film 'The Sentinel', Jay Parikh decided to do something unique create a web series in gujarati. He then contacted his friend Priyanka Pandit for doing the cinematography of the series. The writers Om Bhatt and Surendra Singh created a wonderful story just out 2 charecters. All the episodes were shot in a rigirous day-night shoot of 3 days.

The title "Varta re Varta" is actually considered to be a kids' bedtime story collection. But this web series will completely change that perception. This is a webseries aimed for an international audience which is interested in the diversity of the cinema.
